Having this amount of descriptive information within each sample provides many uses for the data. Besides identifying the workers at risk and providing basic communication of risk:

	Task level detail on noise sources provides useful information for the Noise Control Engineering Program
	The interview and observation data are useful in increasing worker participation in hearing loss prevention training and motivational programs
	The uniform method provides basis for management analysis and benchmarking

Finally the detailed documentation improves reliability and repeatability
