Uniform Method for Determining
Work-Related Sound Exposure Levels
Notes:

Sound exposure profiling as described here it is a uniform method for determining work related sound exposure levels. It employs a sampling strategy that is based on the employers or a work place's organizational structure. The second aspect of the procedure is the method of data collection. The procedure determines sound exposure risk by evaluating the activities that a worker would perform over a work shift. The compilation of these activities is a profile. The 8 hour time weighted sound exposure level is computed using the method specified in Table G-16 of the noise exposure regulation.
