What's a HeLP Guide^sm?

Almost 30 years after standards were set requiring use of hearing protection on noisy jobs hearing loss prevention professionals are still faced with employer and worker apathy about self-protective behavior.  Use of communication tools such as JAA's HeLP Guides bring the information to the worker about which jobs cease risk of noise exposure and how to protect against those risks. The introduction included on the HeLP Guide reflects it's purpose as a communication tool. It also leads the noise-exposed worker to local sources for more information.   Click here for large view.
